Akin Gogus

Akin Gogus is an experienced mechanical engineer specializing in the design of mechanical and electrical systems for data centers and critical facilities. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Mechanical Engineering at kW Mission Critical Engineering since March 2022, Akin has held significant roles including Senior Mechanical Engineer there and previously Lead Mechanical Engineer at Sigma7 design group, Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Carlson Design Construct, and Mechanical Design Engineer at PTS Data Center Solutions. Akin's extensive background includes expertise in chilled water cooling systems, equipment selection, ductwork design, and project scheduling. With a solid educational foundation, including a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an Advanced Management Certificate in Business Administration, Akin Gogus brings robust technical skills and leadership experience to the engineering field.
