Zan-Kai Chong

Zan-Kai Chong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as the Head of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at DCAP Commercial / DCAP Holdings since March 2023. In parallel, Zan-Kai is an Industrial Advisor at the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), and a Researcher at Kwansei Gakuin University, collaborating with Professor Ohsaki on machine learning since 2011. Previous roles include Senior Data Manager at Credit Bureau Malaysia, Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at Boost Credit, and Data Engineer/Machine Learning Engineer at ADA. An academic background includes a Doctorate of Philosophy from UTAR and over seven years as an Assistant Professor at the same institution, focusing on telecommunications and IoT communication optimization. Zan-Kai also co-founded a start-up and has gained advanced credentials in machine learning and data management through various Nano Degrees from Udacity.
