Niall Farrell

Niall Farrell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Niall has recently held the position of Head of UI at KX since January 2022, where they are responsible for the user interface design. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Developer at KX from June 2017 to April 2022, where they developed proficiency in HTML5, CSS/Sass, jQuery, Backbone.js, and Underscore.js. Niall has also worked as a Developer at First Derivatives, ActivateClients, and as a Digital Marketing Intern at Zenergy Health and Beauty Clinic. Niall started their career as a Designer and Developer, working as a freelance web developer since 2001. Niall possesses strong skills in website creation, working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as CMS applications like Wordpress. Niall also has experience as a Trainee Actuary at Vhi Healthcare, where they worked on profitability reports and utilized software tools using Microsoft Excel and VBA. Additionally, they were a Designer at Nuacht Chláir from June 2000 to February 2009. Niall Farrell has a diverse education history. Niall completed their MSc in Computer Science at University College Dublin from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Financial Maths and Economics at the University of Galway, where they studied subjects such as Maths, Economics, Statistics, Probability, Computer Science, Actuarial Mathematics, and Econometrics from 2004 to 2008. Niall's educational journey started with their Leaving Certificate at St. Joseph's Patrician College ('The Bish') from 1999 to 2004.
