Estephany Escobar

Estephany Escobar is an accomplished bilingual multimedia journalist with a diverse background in news reporting and anchoring. Currently employed at Spectrum since June 2019 and at KXXV since June 2014 as a bilingual multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor, Estephany excels in pitching impactful hard news stories, video shooting, writing, and editing. Estephany previously worked as a multimedia journalist for Robert Richter & Friends, Inc., WHSV-TV, and WMRA-FM from June 2012 to March 2014, showcasing skills in story presentation in both studio and field settings. Early experience includes internships at WISC-TV, Wisconsin Public Radio, and WMTV NBC 15, along with roles as a news writer and photojournalist at The Daily Cardinal and as a student correspondent for Global Post. Estephany holds a degree in Journalism & Mass Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
