Riccardo Wysoczanski

Riccardo Wysoczanski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Riccardo is currently working as a Scientist at Kymab Ltd since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Associate Scientist at the same company from January 2022 to April 2023.

In 2020, Riccardo worked as a Ph.D. Representative at the British Association for Lung Research (BALR), a position they held for three years from February 2020 to January 2023.

From 2017 to 2022, Riccardo was a Ph.D. student in respiratory science at Imperial College London. Riccardo also worked as a Research Technician at UCL in the Centre of Molecular Medicine. Here, they investigated the acute inflammatory response in inflammatory bowel disease and utilized multiple experimental methods to characterize the immune response in vivo and in vitro.

Before their research career, Riccardo worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant within the science department at Jack Hunt School. Their responsibilities included independently teaching science lessons for students in various year levels and planning lessons with experiments, learning resources, and homework assignments.

Riccardo Wysoczanski has an extensive education history in the field of biomedical sciences. Riccardo completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, with honors, at Queen Mary University of London from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine at Imperial College London from 2013 to 2014. Riccardo then furthered their education at the same institution, completing a Master's degree in Biomedical Research, specializing in Respiratory and Cardiovascular Science, from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at Imperial College London, focused on Respiratory Science, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
