Richard Williams

Richard Williams has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Richard'smost recent position was as Vice President CMC at Kymab Ltd, where they have been serving since July 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Crucell as a Senior Director CMC from May 2011 to June 2014. Before joining Crucell, Richard served as Associate Director Project Management & Business Operations at MedImmune from 2004 to 2011. Richard also worked at Acambis as a Manager Process Development from 2001 to 2004, where they focused on the development and tech transfer of upstream and downstream processes for vaccine manufacture. Richard started their career at Schering Plough in 1999, where they gained experience in bacterial and viral vaccine production, microbial culture, mammalian cell culture, primary recovery and downstream purification, process transfer and project management.

Richard Williams attended New College, Telford from 1990 to 1992; however, the degree and field of study are not specified. Richard later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbial physiology of Streptomyces at the University of Surrey from 1996 to 1999.
