Samuel started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Sainsbury's, where they focused on providing excellent customer service and dealing with specific customer needs. Samuel then transitioned into the role of Assistant Basketball Coach at Champions Academy UK, where they took on increasing responsibilities and developed leadership and communication skills.

In 2013, Samuel began their professional career in the insurance industry with a one-week work experience course at Marsh, where they gained knowledge and experience in marine insurance and claims. Samuel also had the opportunity to observe underwriters and brokers in action. Following this, they interned at Aon as part of the Global Financial Services team, focusing on marine insurance and analyzing slips and loan contracts.

Samuel continued their journey at Aon in various roles, including Broker Support in the Benefit Solutions division, where they produced renewal proposals and facilitated communication between insurers and clients. Samuel then became a Project Manager, overseeing various projects, before being promoted to Associate Director, working alongside the Chairman for Aon Commercial Risk UK and Americas. In this role, they provided advice and solutions in risk, retirement, and health, with a particular focus on cyber risk management.

In 2018, Samuel joined the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) as a U35's Committee Member, contributing to the committee's initiatives and activities.

Their most recent role is as a Business Development Manager at KYND, a company specializing in cyber risk technology. Here, they play a crucial role in facilitating the understanding and management of cyber risks for organizations at multiple levels.
