Sarah Sottile

Sarah Sottile, Ph.D., is the Director of Special Education at Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind as of July 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in educational leadership. Previously, Sarah held various roles at Kyrene Elementary School District since July 2015, including Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, and served as Dean of Students at Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind from June 2012 to July 2015. With a robust background in deaf education, Sarah has achieved remarkable success, including graduating deaf valedictorians and significantly improving student performance in reading and writing. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis on Cognition and Instruction from Grand Canyon University and an MA in Deaf Education from Michigan State University, among other degrees and certifications.
