Michael Boniface

Michael Boniface has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Michael started as an IT Engineer at Grampian Country Food Group in 2002 before progressing to roles such as Technical Operations Manager at Ingenico, where they implemented cost-saving measures and advised on project viability. Michael then became a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they led technology architecture teams, implemented global support systems, and oversaw a data center migration initiative.

Following their time at JPMorgan, they worked as the Director of IT at Realtime Worlds, where they built global IT teams and delivered a clear strategic roadmap. Michael then became the Managing Director at Reloaded Games, Inc., where they oversaw the conversion and re-release of the subscription game APB as a free-to-play title.

Most recently, Michael has worked as the Head of ONE CodeBase & ONE Tech Hub Director at Opportunity North East Limited, where they facilitated tech company growth and digital transformation in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Kythera AI.

Michael Boniface's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at the University of Bristol. Michael pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Geology and completed their studies in 1999. Following this, in 2000, they attended the University of St Andrews, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, which they completed in 2001.

In 2022, Michael expanded their educational journey by attending the MIT Sloan School of Management for the Entrepreneurship Development Programme. This program lasted for the entirety of 2022.
