Brandon Kwong

Brandon Kwong is an experienced researcher in the field of immunology and therapeutics, currently serving as Associate Director of Research at Kyverna Therapeutics since June 2021. Prior to this role, Brandon held positions at Precigen as a Senior Scientist focused on developing engineered Treg cell therapies for autoimmune diseases, and at Intrexon Corporation as a Scientist II in Autoimmunity. Earlier in the career, Brandon conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health, investigating CD4 T cell interactions in neuro-inflammatory diseases, and at MIT, where research focused on immunomodulatory agent delivery for tumor therapy. Brandon holds a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
