Tom Owens

Tom Owens serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Electronic Warfare Sector at L3Harris Technologies since September 2017. With extensive experience in financial leadership, Owens has developed and executed a comprehensive annual audit plan for over 40 audits at a global company valued at $18 billion. Key achievements include merging audit teams, enhancing risk assessment processes, and driving digital initiatives for automating audit procedures. Prior to L3Harris, Owens held various financial roles at Harris Corporation, including Finance Director for the Wireless Solutions Sector, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management, strategic planning, and operational improvements across multiple business locations. Owens earned a Finance degree from Florida State University and has been instrumental in employee development and diversity initiatives throughout the career.
