David Michael

David Michael has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Officer for LA28, where they are responsible for overseeing all technology aspects for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor/Judge for Stadia Ventures and served as an Advisory Board Member for BWG Strategy LLC.

In their previous roles, David held the position of Chief Technology Officer for the XFL, where they managed all product and technology aspects for the American football league. David also served as the Chief Information Officer for The Madison Square Garden Company, overseeing technology initiatives and leading a digital transformation program. Before that, they worked as the Chief Information Officer for GroupM, responsible for technology operations for the US/Canada division of the world's largest Media Planning and Buying agency group.

David also has experience as the CIO of UBM Tech, where they transformed B2B media web properties and implemented a single open-source platform. Prior to that, they served as the EVP Global Technology for UBM plc, supporting the company's strategic transformation and leading the implementation of an enterprise-wide collaboration platform. David started their career at PR Newswire, where they held various roles including CIO & EVP Global Operations and Technical Director.

Throughout their career, David Michael has demonstrated their expertise in technology leadership, digital transformation, and strategic management.

David Michael obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Warwick, where they studied from 1986 to 1989.
