Dwayne Jones has extensive work experience in event planning, management, and hospitality. Dwayne most recently worked as the Sr. Director of Experiential Engagement & Protocol at LA28, where they oversaw domestic and international events, as well as hospitality for the Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Special Events at LA 2024 / LA 2028 Exploratory Committee. Dwayne also served as the Vice President of Special Events, Celebrity Engagement, and Entertainment at the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015. Dwayne has a strong background in event logistics and VIP management, having worked as the Olympic & Customer Event VIP Logistics Director at Jet Set Sports and as the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances & Special Events at the Hollywood & Highland Center / Kodak Theatre. Dwayne has also worked in various event planning roles at companies such as Universal Studios Hollywood, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, and Morley Companies, Inc. Before that, they gained experience in leadership and education as the Director of Chapter Operations / Leadership & Education Consultant at Theta Chi Fraternity. Dwayne has a proven track record in delivering successful events and managing high-profile clients and stakeholders.

Dwayne Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising Design from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where they studied from 1991 to 1996.
