Karen Sturges

Karen Sturges has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Karen is currently working as the CFO at LA28 since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Los Angeles Philharmonic from August 2020 to July 2022. Before that, Karen was the SVP of Finance at Endeavor Content from April 2019 to August 2020.

From July 2012 to April 2019, Karen held the position of CFO & SVP, Global Television & Int'l Digital Distribution at NBCUniversal, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as Vice President of Finance at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies from December 2005 to July 2012. Karen's experience also includes working as an Executive Director at Sony Pictures Entertainment from July 1998 to December 2005.

Karen began their career at The Walt Disney Company as a Senior Financial Analyst from 1995 to 1998. Karen started their professional journey as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Anderson & Co, where they worked from 1992 to 1995.

Karen Sturges has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the USC Marshall School of Business. Karen also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the same institution. Additionally, Karen is a Certified Public Accountant, obtained from the California Board of Accountancy.
