Florencia Pagola

Florencia Pagola is an experienced journalist and editor with a diverse background in freelance work and editorial roles. Currently, Pagola serves as Coordinadora at Kaja Negra since August 2020 and has been contributing as a freelance journalist for various organizations including la diaria, Pikara Magazine, and the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) since 2021. Previous experience includes collaboration on the Journalistic Investigation "10 Historias Migrantes" with Chicas Poderosas and report writing for Fondo de Acción Urgente América Latina. Pagola also worked as a journalist and editor at Red LATAM de Jóvenes Periodistas de Distintas Latitudes from 2015 to 2017, and as a freelance journalist for la diaria from 2011 to 2015, focusing on topics like consumption and gastronomy. Pagola holds a Diplomado en Derechos Humanos from the Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos and a Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación, Periodismo from Universidad de la República.
