Esteban Muñoz

Esteban Muñoz is an experienced theater professional with a strong background in directing and dramaturgy. Currently serving as Assistant Director, Associate Director, Dramaturg, and Stage Manager for La Fura dels Baus since October 2011, Esteban has contributed to numerous notable productions. From September 2023 to August 2024, Esteban holds the position of Staff Director at Bayerische Staatsoper. Previous roles include Revival Director and Assistant Director at Komische Oper Berlin, with significant work on productions such as "Fiddler on the Roof" and Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen." Esteban's education includes a Master of Arts in Dramaturgy from Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies, Musicology, and Art History from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
