Caitlin Brown is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, focusing on the role of TET proteins in the epigenetic regulation of gene expression through advanced methodologies, including next-gen sequencing and CRISPR-mediated genome editing. Prior to this, Caitlin served as a Senior Associate at Wiley, managing international teams and leading projects on scientific fraud detection. Caitlin completed a PhD in Chemical Biology at Imperial College London, where research involved the biophysical characterization of DNA structures related to Friedreich's Ataxia. Caitlin also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant while at Imperial College London. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master of Research in Chemical Biology from Imperial College London, as well as a Master of Chemistry from the University of Warwick.
