Greet Verstichel

Greet Verstichel is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at La Jolla Institute for Immunology, with experience beginning in December 2016. Prior to this role, Greet served as a Researcher PhD Student at Ghent University from September 2010 to October 2016, focusing on human T cell agonist selection and the characterization of CD8 T cell populations in the human thymus. Greet's earlier research experience includes a position at Roswell Park Cancer Institute from August 2009 to July 2010, which involved three research rotations in the Immunology department, as well as an Internal Medicine Residency at AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende AV from October 2008 to July 2009, with involvement in geriatrics, endocrinology, and gastroenterology. Greet holds a PhD in Immunology from Ghent University (2011-2016), graduate studies in Immunology from Buffalo State University (2009-2010), and a Master's in Medicine from Ghent University (2001-2008).
