Sara Coleman

Sara Coleman, PhD, is currently a Scientific Curator at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, where responsibilities include curating scientific literature for the Immune Epitope Database. Previous roles include serving as a Technical Service Scientist at BioLegend, where Sara provided product education and troubleshooting support. As a Biobank Manager at ClinImmune Labs, management of a biorepository and oversight of sample processing was key. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, research focused on host-microbe interactions and T-cell activation during HIV infection. Education includes a PhD in Human Physiology from Massey University, a Master's in Molecular Nutrition and Health Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University.
