Sonya Haupt

Sonya Haupt is a Ph.D. candidate at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, working under the guidance of Dr. Shane Crotty since September 2019. Previously, Sonya served as a Senior Associate Scientist in Protein and Cellular Engineering at Codiak BioSciences from July 2016 to August 2019. Earlier research experience includes time as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department at the University of Connecticut from March 2014 to May 2016. Sonya's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology (2012-2016) and a Master of Science in Structural Biology, Biophysics, and Biochemistry (2015-2016) from the University of Connecticut, as well as ongoing graduate studies in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Immunology at UC San Diego since 2019.
