Alan Brooke

Alan Brooke is a PhD student at Simon Fraser University, focusing on the novel synthesis of enantioenriched ɑ-haloaldehydes since May 2022. Prior experience includes working as an undergraduate research assistant with the Britton Group at both Simon Fraser University and Trinity Western University, where optimization of synthetic methods for ɑ-haloaldehydes was a primary focus. Alan also served in various instructional roles in organic and general chemistry at Trinity Western University while completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Education continues with the pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry at Simon Fraser University, expected to conclude in September 2027.
