Tom Riffelmacher

Head Of Immunometabolism Core Facility at La Jolla Institute for Immunology

Tom Riffelmacher is currently serving as the Head of Immunometabolism Core Facility at La Jolla Institute for Immunology. Prior to this role, Tom worked as a Post-doctoral researcher in the Kronenberg lab. Tom also held the title of MRC Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford and completed a PhD in autophagy and hematopoietic stem cells. Tom's research interests center around innate-like T cell functional and metabolic states, as well as the role of autophagy and energy-metabolic adaption in cellular differentiation. Tom holds a Master's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
