Rebekah Fant-Male

Rebekah Fant-Male has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Rebekah has held various roles in different organizations, starting from 2012 to the present. Rebekah began their career in 2012 as a Lead Instructor at Guernsey Sailing Trust, where they taught and managed groups of students learning to sail. In 2016, they worked as a Student Teacher at the University of Leicester. Following that, they worked as a Science Teacher at LEES BROOK COMMUNITY SCHOOL and TEDDINGTON SCHOOL, teaching biology and physics. At The Wren School, they served as a Science Teacher and later took on the role of KS3 Science Lead. Rebekah developed curricular and assessment strategies and incorporated retrieval practice into the learning process. Concurrently, they worked as a Private Tutor, specializing in biology for AQA and Edexcel GCSE and AQA Biology A-level courses. Rebekah conducted diagnostic assessments, provided targeted instruction, and evaluated progress. Rebekah joined Complete Mathematics in 2022 as an Education Advisor, consulting on sales, demonstrating platforms, and managing accounts. Rebekah later became the Senior Education Adviser (Partnerships), where they engaged stakeholders and presented on educational change management. Currently, they hold the role of International Partnerships Lead at Complete Mathematics, where they work with school leaders to address emerging needs in mathematics education. Rebekah focuses on understanding challenges across different contexts and building relationships with education professionals to improve mathematics education. Rebekah also has research experience, having worked as a Voluntary Research Assistant at Cardiff University, where they assisted in genomic bacterial DNA extraction. In addition, they completed an undergraduate research project comparing the biomechanics of rugby players on different surfaces. Rebekah Fant-Male obtained their Master of Arts in Education Policy and Society from King's College London, from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a PGCE in Secondary Biology with Science at the University of Leicester from 2016 to 2017. Rebekah holds a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology from the University of South Wales, which they earned from 2013 to 2016. Rebekah'ssecondary education was completed at The Ladies' College Guernsey, where they studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A Level from 2006 to 2013.
