Darris Nichols

Darris Nichols is the Head Men's Basketball Coach at La Salle University, a position held since March 2025. Previously, Nichols served as the Head Coach at Radford University from 2021 to March 2025, where a notable achievement was leading the team to a 21-15 overall record in the 2022-23 season, marking a historic first for multiple postseason tournament wins. Nichols has also held assistant coaching roles at the University of Florida, Louisiana Tech University, Wofford College, Northern Kentucky University, and West Virginia University, contributing to significant team successes and the development of future NBA players. A former player, Nichols was a prominent figure at West Virginia University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and helping the Mountaineers reach the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2008.
