Maria Wu Kiskis

Maria Wu Kiskis has a strong background in strategy, planning, and business development. Maria is currently the VP of Strategy & Planning at LA28. Prior to that, they held various advisory roles at Independent and Girls Leadership. Maria also served as the Global Head of Business & Corporate Development at Asana and Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development at Neustar, Inc. In addition, they worked as the Director of Global Head of Strategy & Investments at Virgin and held board director positions at Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship SA. Maria has also had experience in audience network and business development as the Director at Say Media and in international operations and product strategy at Yahoo. Maria began their career as a Summer Associate in Technology Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank.

Maria Wu Kiskis has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, with a field of study in International Economics. Maria also attended Stuyvesant High School. Maria further pursued their education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they obtained an MBA in the Global Management Program. Additionally, they participated in the International Business Program at Waseda University. Maria has also earned certifications in wine, including a Wines Level 3 Advanced Certificate (with Merit) and a Wines Level 2 Intermediate Certificate (with Distinction) from the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in 2021 and 2020 respectively.
