Tanja Olano

Tanja Olano has a diverse work experience spanning various legal roles. Tanja began their career as an Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in 2008 and worked there until 2012. Tanja then joined Greenberg Traurig, LLP as an Associate from 2012 to 2015. In the same year, they also joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP as an Associate, but their tenure was brief, ending in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Tanja served as the Deputy General Counsel at the LA 2024 / LA 2028 Exploratory Committee. Tanja then transitioned to LA28, where they held various leadership roles. Tanja started as the General Counsel from 2017 to 2021, and subsequently served as the Chief Legal Officer from 2021 to 2022. From 2022 to 2024, they took on the role of Chief Legal and People Officer. Currently, Tanja Olano holds the position of Chief Administrative and Legal Officer at LA28.

Tanja Olano has a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, and they hold a Bachelor's degree in Business (BS) and Political Science (BA) from the University of Southern California.
