Laura Känkänen

Laura Kazlauskaite is currently a PLM Student Assistant at ICEpower Audio since July 2024. Prior to this role, Laura worked at Siemens Gamesa from February 2020 to July 2024, initially as a Student Worker in Process Engineering and later as a Process Engineer, specializing in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within a global team. Key responsibilities included defining assembly sequences for offshore turbines, creating visual storyboards, developing production layouts with AutoCAD, and conducting PFMEAs to ensure quality. Laura also collaborated with various stakeholders to facilitate project success. Earlier experience includes a Project Engineering Internship at Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy, where Laura managed an international team, conducted market research, created a report on small wind turbine construction, and built a prototype turbine. Laura holds a Master's degree in Software Design from IT-Universitetet i København, a Bachelor's degree in Global Business Engineering from VIA University College, and an exchange semester in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, complemented by an International Baccalaureate diploma.
