Dan Collins has a solid work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Dan started their career as a Project Manager at Personius Wadsworth Molter in 1980, and then moved on to become a Vice President at Sear Brown Associates in 1986, where they stayed until 2003. After that, they founded their own company, dpc engineering, pc, and served as the President from 2003 onwards. In 2015, Collins joined LaBella Associates, D.P.C. as a Vice President.

Dan Collins earned their Associate's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology in 1976. Dan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, which they completed in 1986.
