Laurie Mueller has over 15 years of experience in the business operations and management industry. Laurie began their career in 2005 as Office Manager at Union Diamond, where they were responsible for business accounting, month-end reporting, inventory tracking, and P&L analysis. In this role, they deployed forensic accounting practices to identify and rectify accounting errors, and introduced sales, payment processing, and vendor compliance management practices to reduce financial risk. Laurie was then promoted to Senior Operations Manager, where they were tasked with overseeing operations, sales, marketing, merchandising, IT support, accounting, financial reporting, inventory control, vendor management, and HR. Laurie navigated multiple ownership transitions, digital asset transfers, and the economic downturn while maintaining business viability and delivering a seamless customer experience in a competitive market. Laurie administered an $18M P&L and led a 21-member (at peak) team.

In 2017, Mueller joined Dunwoody Labs as Chief of Growth and Strategic Partnerships. In this role, they built and managed highly productive teams that meet and exceed goals, and was selected to build from the ground up and lead a national outside sales force. Laurie expanded the organization to 20+ direct reports working in a matrixed organization with outside sales and inside Sales.

Also in 2017, Mueller was recruited by the CEO/Principal of LabLynx, Inc. (LabLynx LIMS) to serve as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they directed operations, sales, and P&L for a $5M+ company with stagnant revenues, to increase productivity, boost revenue, and reduce overhead. Laurie oversaw a wide-scale business performance assessment and turnaround, leading a 40-member cross-functional team (three direct reports). Additionally, they led a major restructuring of the software build/configuration process and solutions customized for laboratories spanning 18+ industries.

Laurie Mueller attended Cerritos College from 1994 to 1996, where they studied Elements of Supervision & Management Principles. Prior to that, they attended Nova Institute from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Medical Assistant.
