Mariana Costa Checa is the Co-Founder and CEO of Laboratoria, an organization that provides an immersive six-month bootcamp in technical and life skills for women who have not been able to start a professional career yet. Prior to founding Laboratoria, Mariana worked as a Program Development Manager at TechnoServe and as a Project Coordinator for the Universal Civil Identity Program at the Organization of American States. In their free time, Mariana enjoys spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and reading.

Mariana Costa Checa has a Master's degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
