Luís Pereira

Luís Pereira is a seasoned professional in the fields of physics and engineering with a rich background in research and academia. Currently, Luís serves as the Founder of Birnbaum - Scientific and Engineering Consulting since October 2023, and holds dual roles as a Researcher and Instrumentation Engineer at INSTITUTO DE SISTEMAS E ROBÓTICA - ISR since September 2021. Prior to these positions, Luís contributed to LIP-Coimbra from 2004 to 2023 in a similar capacity. Luís has also held adjunct and assistant professor roles at various institutions, including Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra and Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, between 2010 and 2022. Luís’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, and a PhD in Physics Engineering, all obtained from Universidade de Coimbra.
