Lorenzo Giardini

Lorenzo Giardini is a seasoned research scientist currently affiliated with HIPRA since November 2016, focusing on fish vaccine development. Concurrently, Lorenzo has been involved with AquaBioTech Group since August 2013, serving as both R&D Facilities Supervisor and Aquaculture Technician, where responsibilities include conducting nutrition and challenge trials, enhancing biosecurity protocols, and managing microbiological laboratory tasks. Previous experience encompasses an internship as Assistant Aquarist at Falmouth Aquarium, volunteer work with the FAO and Tuscia University, and a research internship emphasizing fish cultivation and health monitoring. Lorenzo holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Aquaculture Systems from Plymouth University and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Tuscia University.
