Amanda MacNeil

Amanda MacNeil has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Regional Director of Communications for NL Health Services in the Labrador-Grenfell Zone. Prior to this, they held the same role at Labrador-Grenfell Health. Amanda also has experience as a Public Relations & Special Events Manager at the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and as an Event Supervisor at Oliver & Bonacini Events. Amanda has worked with the City of Toronto in various capacities, including as a Production Assistant for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche and as a Production Assistant for Special Events. Amanda has also worked as an Activities Coordinator at Dwight School Canada and as a Server/Shift Leader at Jack Astor's. Earlier in their career, Amanda worked as an In Room Dining Server at the Prince George Hotel/Cambridge Suites Halifax and as a Recreation Program Coordinator at the Cape Breton Community Housing Association.

Amanda MacNeil completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Later, in 2012 and 2013, they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Sport and Event Marketing from George Brown College.
