Senior Director, Customer Engagement Strategy at The Lacek Group

Joe Rueckert has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to digital marketing and customer engagement strategy. Joe is currently working as a Senior Director of Customer Engagement Strategy at The Lacek Group since November 2017. Before that, they worked as a Digital Engagement Manager at Land O'Lakes, Inc. from July 2014 to September 2017, where they successfully refreshed the digital channel strategy and overhauled the lean digital marketing function. Prior to that, they served as the VP and Director of Activation Planning at Martin Williams from July 2012 to March 2013, where they led the creation and execution of a digital engagement plan for key client Simmons Beautyrest. Joe also served as the Director of Online Marketing at Ameriprise Financial from January 2007 to June 2012, where they directed the Digital Marketing team and set corporate social and brand strategy. Joe Rueckert's earlier experience includes roles such as the Director of Digital Direct Marketing at MRM Worldwide from October 2002 to December 2006, Product Marketing Manager at Jasc Software from August 2001 to October 2002, and various positions at TMP Worldwide, where they started as an Account Executive and later became a Marketing Manager, handling marketing planning for clients' directional advertising programs.

Joe Rueckert received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth, which they attended from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing at St. Cloud State University from 1988 to 1990. Joe also attended St. Cloud Tech from 1984 to 1988, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Joe Rueckert has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance. Joe received certifications in various fields from 2016 to 2020, including "From Ideas to Action" from NovoEd, "Developing a Competitive Strategy" from LinkedIn, and "Planning a Career in User Experience," "Design Thinking: Venture Design," and "Agile Product Owner Role: Techniques," all from LinkedIn.
