Mervin Oliphant

Mervin Oliphant is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the HR Manager for South African Operations at Lactalis South Africa since August 2022, overseeing HR operations across five plants and five distribution centers. Previously, Mervin held the position of Human Resources Manager for the Inland Region at Twinsaver Group from January 2019 to August 2022, and served as an HR Business Partner at Danone between January 2016 and December 2018. Mervin has also managed HR teams at Parmalat SA for the Bonnievale and Ladismith plants from June 2013 to December 2015 and worked as a Regional HR Manager for Shoprite across various supermarket brands from April 2008 to May 2013. Mervin's career began at BMW as a Motorplan and Warranty Clerk from October 2006 to March 2008. Mervin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University and has recently completed a Leadership Development Program at YSA.
