Donelle Hauser has served at-risk children and families for over 20 years. Donelle brings executive experience to Lad Lake including: turnaround environments, team-building, strategic planning, trauma-informed implementation, systems development, continuous quality improvement, electronic health record systems implementation, advocacy, contract negotiations, fiscal management, and program design.
Donelle is currently the Executive Vice President for Lad Lake, where she oversees programs that address sex trafficking, high school drop-out rates, family stability, vocational preparedness, mental health supports, and homelessness prevention (for youth aging out of foster care). She previously served as Vice President of Residential Services at one of New York State’s largest nonprofit child welfare agencies. There, Donelle was instrumental in the development of five social enterprise programs providing vocational training and opportunities for youth. She also currently serves in several elected local and statewide positions including: the Alliance Executive Leadership Institute Alumni Board, the School Board, President of a State Juvenile Detention Association, and Wisconsin’s Department of Children and Family Services and Wisconsin’s Cross Systems Work group. She is dedicated to helping improve the Juvenile Justice System, and find innovative solutions to serve youth with complex needs.
