Michael Higgins

Michael Higgins has a wealth of experience in the financial industry, particularly in equity research and analysis. Michael currently works as a Managing Director in Equity Research at Ladenburg Thalmann, a position they have held since November 2017. Before joining Ladenburg Thalmann, Higgins was a Managing Director and Senior Biopharmaceuticals Analyst at ROTH Capital Partners, LLC from April 2015 to November 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Managing Director and Senior Life Sciences Research Analyst at Highline Research Advisors, LLC from June 2013 to March 2015. Michael Higgins earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance & Investment Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Michael later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance & Investment Management at Marquette University, completing their studies from 1995 to 1998. In addition, they hold various certifications, including the Series 7, 63, 86 & 87 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
