Igor Shalamov

Igor Shalamov has a diverse work experience in the wine and beverage industry. Igor started their career as a Lecturer at various wine schools, including Wine State School, Enotria Wine School, Wine Masters Wine School, Marine Express Wine School, and Bartenders FAQtory School. Igor also worked as an Author for WhiskyTalk.ru and Islay.ru and as the Creator and Host of Open Whisky Club.

In addition to their teaching roles, Igor Shalamov held various management positions at Ladoga Group, including Head of Assortment Management Department and Head of Sales Development Department. Igor also served as a Brand Manager at Ladoga Group.

Igor Shalamov briefly worked as the Executive Director of VinyllaSky Bar.

Igor Shalamov obtained a Specialist degree in Informatics in Management from the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts. Igor attended this university from 2010 to 2012. Igor Shalamov also holds several additional certifications, including WSET Level 2 in Spirits and WSET Level 1 in Sake from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, BarSmarts Graduate Certificate from Beverage Alcohol Resource, LLC, The Science of Alcohol from The Open University, Expert Negotiator from NegoExpert, and a Sommelier Diploma from Marine Express Wine School.
