Jason Gardea Stinnett

Jason Gardea Stinnett holds extensive experience in public service and community engagement, currently serving as a Legislative Representative and Premier Accounts Team Lead at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since May 2015, where responsibilities include managing relationships with significant business customers. Previously, Jason contributed to community and government affairs as a Senior Liaison at LADWP, enhancing outreach programs for stakeholders. Additionally, Jason has held various roles with the City of Commerce, including Education Commission Chairperson and Public Information Officer, and played a vital role in developing the Green Zones Policy, recognized with a Clean Air Award. With a background in public relations and communications, Jason also served as Executive Vice-President for AFSCME District Council 36 and was actively involved in environmental policy through the League of California Cities. Educational pursuits include a BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and ongoing certification in Sustainability from UCLA Extension.
