Keith Garcia

Keith Garcia serves as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since September 2015, specializing in planning and training development for power systems emergency preparedness. Before this role, Garcia was the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Los Angeles Port Police from March 2010 to September 2015, where responsibilities included developing emergency planning activities for the Port of Los Angeles. Prior experience includes serving as an Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Los Angeles from August 2007 to February 2010 and Assistant Director of Emergency Services at the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region for nearly two decades, where extensive involvement in disaster relief operations was demonstrated.
