Derek Goldberg

Derek Goldberg has diverse work experience in various industries. Derek started their career as a Maintenance Worker at Norseman Resort on the Beach, where they performed a range of tasks including maintenance, cleaning, and guest service. Derek later ventured into digital marketing and founded DJG Digital Marketing, where they managed social media, conducted photoshoots, and built websites for small businesses.

In 2019, Derek joined Lafayette Hotels as a Digital Marketing Director, responsible for managing the online presence of multiple hotels, stores, and restaurants. Derek oversaw social media, websites, online profiles, photography, and advertisements, working with interns and contracted companies to enhance the digital image of Lafayette Hotels.

In 2022, Derek founded Seacoast Threads, an apparel company focused on showcasing the Southern Maine Seacoast. Inspired by their upbringing and love for the area, they started this venture to highlight the region's unique qualities and history.

Continuing their entrepreneurial endeavors, Derek also became a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains Realty in 2023. Prior to this, they gained experience as a Machine Operator at Pine Hill Excavation.

Derek's future career path includes their upcoming role as an Associate Broker at Anchor Real Estate Company, starting in 2023. Throughout their work experience, Derek has demonstrated versatility and a passion for digital marketing, hospitality, real estate, and entrepreneurship.

Derek Goldberg pursued their education starting in 2019 at York County Community College, where they completed an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Derek then continued their academic journey at Southern New Hampshire University from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
