Adjoa Gzifa

Adjoa Gzifa is an experienced professional with a robust background in education and workforce development. Currently serving as the Director at LaGuardia Community College's Workforce Education Center since December 2010, Adjoa oversees all grant-funded programs. Additionally, Adjoa has been an Adjunct Lecturer at York College since January 1999, teaching Career Development to college students. Prior roles at LaGuardia Community College include management responsibilities and the position of Associate Director, where Adjoa played a key role in hiring and training staff as well as program oversight. Adjoa's previous positions also include serving as Second Vice President and Board Member at Neighborhood Housing Services of Jamaica, along with instructing and lecturing roles at multiple institutions. Adjoa holds an M.A. in Urban Studies from Queens College and a B.S. in Accounting from The City University of New York.
