Matthijs Dietvorst

Matthijs Dietvorst has a strong background in the brewing industry, with extensive experience in various managerial positions. Matthijs is currently the SVP of Operations at Lagunitas Brewing Company, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Manager at CCU S.A. from May 2017 to April 2021 and as a Brewery Operations Manager at Alken-Maes Brouwerijen from October 2013 to April 2021. Matthijs has also held the position of Brewery Director at Heineken Russia, Volga Brewery from August 2009 to September 2013 and at Grupa Zywiec S.A. Lezajsk Brewery from February 2006 to August 2009. In addition, they served as the Group Quality & Technology Manager at Grupa Zywiec S.A. from September 2003 to February 2006, and as an Account Manager at Heineken Technical Services from 2000 to 2003. Early in their career, they held technical managerial roles at Commonwealth Brewery Ltd. Bahamas, Grande Brasserie de Nouvelle Caledonie, Heineken, and South Pacific breweries, Papua New Guinea, from 1995 to 2000.

Matthijs Dietvorst completed their high school education at OLV from 1976 to 1981, earning a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Matthijs then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology at HAS green academy from 1981 to 1986. In 2003, Matthijs attended IMD for a short period, where they studied mobilizing people, without completing a specific degree.
