George Micu

George Micu, CEng MICE, is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in civil engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Project Manager Lead at BYLOR Joint Venture, George oversees the main civil engineering works at the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station, a significant £30 billion undertaking. Previously, George held roles at Laing O'Rourke, Careys, and Csquared International Ltd, managing diverse projects ranging from large-scale construction to compliance with local regulations in Senegal. Notable achievements include contributions to key infrastructure projects in London and significant involvement in various construction initiatives across Europe. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Project Management from the Construction University Bucharest.
