Taryn Foley

Taryn Foley has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Taryn started their career at Anthropologie as a Seasonal Sales Associate in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Design Intern at Nevena Couture and as a Design, Style, Fashion, and Wardrobe Assistant at i.am+. Taryn then joined Indie Source as a Technical Design/ Product Development Assistant, where they recorded sample measurements, assisted with fit sessions, and created technical flats and sketches.

In 2018, Taryn worked as a Product Development Assistant at Alo Yoga and as a Junior Technical Designer at American Apparel, where they had full control over the sample processes and updated tech packs. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Technical Designer at Hybrid Apparel, gaining extensive experience in the role.

In 2022, Taryn joined Quiksilver as a Technical Designer, where they contributed until 2023 when they joined LAIRD in the same role. With a strong background in technical design and product development, Taryn has demonstrated their abilities to organize sample processes, update tech packs, and collaborate effectively with multiple teams in the fashion industry.

Taryn Foley earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they briefly studied at London South Bank University in the Arts and Creative Industries field. Additionally, Taryn obtained several certifications including Customer Service, Effective Decision Making in the Workplace, Workplace Ethics, and a California Food Handler Card. The Customer Service, Effective Decision Making in the Workplace, and Workplace Ethics certifications were obtained in November 2015, while the California Food Handler Card was obtained in August 2014.
