Razvan Costea-Barlutiu

Razvan Costea-Barlutiu has a diverse work experience, starting in June 2001 as a Software Developer at the University of Chicago. Razvan then joined Laitek Inc. in October 2001 as a VP Engineering, where they worked until June 2016, before being promoted to Senior VP Engineering until February 2019. Razvan subsequently became the Chief Technology Officer in February 2019 and later assumed the role of Chief Information Officer in November 2020, both at Laitek Inc. In 2012, Razvan also became a Founding Member of CLUJ IT Cluster and served as a Member of the Board of Directors from October 2013 to October 2014. During their time at CLUJ IT Cluster, they also acted as the Coordinator of the eHealth Commission from June 2013 to October 2014.

Razvan Costea-Barlutiu has a diverse education history. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued an eMBA degree in Business at Universitatea “Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca. Prior to that, they attended the Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 1997 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering. Razvan'searlier education includes attendance at Gheorghe Sincai from 1992 to 1996, although the specific degree and field of study during that time are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Razvan has also pursued several training programs. Razvan participated in the Aspen Seminar for Leaders and completed the IHE XDS Training. Razvan also engaged in training in Requirements Engineering at IREB.
