Daniel Choi's work experience begins in 2001 as an R&D Manager at Visionsoft in South Korea, where they designed and developed a Java-based framework and worked on various development projects. In 2008, they joined Edubase as a Senior Java Developer, where they designed databases and software architectures and managed a project for an e-learning system. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Software Developer in a co-op program at Postmedia Network Inc. and Manitoba Innovation, Energy, and Mines, where they developed various applications using C# and ASP.NET. In 2014, they joined Market Force Information as an Application Support Engineer, then progressed to roles as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, gaining experience in various technologies and platforms. As of 2019, Daniel is working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Laivly.
Daniel Choi began their education at Inha University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Language and Literature. In 2000 to 2001, they attended KCC IT Academy and received a Certificate of Intranet and Network. Daniel then pursued further education at Red River College Polytechnic from 2012 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Information Technology. In addition to their degrees, Daniel has obtained several certifications, including SMT (Certificate for Software Modeling Technician - UML) from the Korea Software Technology Association in June 2008, SCJP (Sun Certified Java Programmer - Java 1.4) from Sun Microsystems in March 2008, MCAD (Microsoft Certified Application Developer) from Microsoft in November 2003, and OCP (Oracle Certified Professional - Oracle 8i) from Oracle in July 2003.
