Evan Young

Evan Young has a strong background in software development and IT consulting. Evan currently serves as the Software Development Lead at Laivly since 2021. Prior to that, they worked for the City of Winnipeg from 2013 to 2021, holding various roles including Innovation Developer, Senior Software Developer, Supervisor of Application Development, and Programmer Analyst II. From 2001 to 2013, Evan worked at Apptius Computer Solutions, where they served as a Senior Trainer/Consultant and Consultant, delivering training and analysis and development engagements for clients. Evan also has experience as a Consultant at NetMedia and as an Electronic Commerce Analyst at Nygard International. In the earlier years of their career, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at Progestic and as a Support Team Lead at Infocorp.

Evan Young's education history includes graduating from J.H. Bruns Collegiate in 1986 with a High School Diploma - University Entrance, specializing in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, and Computers. Thereafter, from 1987 to 1988, they attended the University of Manitoba, but the degree and field of study are unknown. Lastly, in the years 1989-1991, they attended Red River College Polytechnic, where they pursued a Computer Programming degree known as CAP.
