Linda Thompson possesses extensive experience in the fields of counseling and education, currently serving as the Director of Graduate Programs in Public Health and Biomedical Ethics at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine since February 2023. Additionally, Linda holds an adjunct professor position at New York University and is the owner of Thompson Counseling Associates, providing individual, couples, and family counseling alongside forensic evaluations. Linda previously held various leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Manatee County Substance Abuse Coalition and Program Director at Belmont Behavioral Health Hospital. With a strong academic background, Linda earned a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Saint Louis University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Truman State University.
