Rob Wilson is an experienced aquatic ecologist with a strong background in environmental science and ecology, holding a Bachelor of Applied Science and a BSc from Trent University. Currently employed at the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority since September 2002, Rob reviews development plans in accordance with the Federal Fisheries Act, organizes data collection efforts, and assesses watercourses for fish presence. Rob also serves as a Smart Commute Champion, promoting sustainable transportation among colleagues. In addition to current roles, Rob has extensive previous experience in aquatic biology, geographic information systems, and volunteer leadership across various conservation and stewardship initiatives.
